About me:
My interest in strength & conditioning began early in high school when I first decided to start lifting weights. Knowing that I wasn’t the strongest guy in the weight-room, I made it a priority early on to not only put the effort in inside of the gym, but also outside of the gym in terms of furthering my education and learning how to maximize my progress. I instantly fell in love with the process of getting stronger and learning about all the surrounding topics such as biomechanics, program design/exercise selection, pain/injury management, and everything in between.
After about 3 years of general strength training I found out about powerlifting. As someone who loves the data aspect of training, powerlifting was extremely appealing to me. After coaching myself for multiple years, I was looking for a different challenge, so I started coaching a few of my friends for free. Soon after, I started getting inquiries from people in nearby gyms, mainly students from the University of Massachusetts in Lowell where I was studying exercise science. It wasn’t long before I had a strong, dedicated roster of athletes lifting under me.
After starting Triumph Strength & Performance with Co-founders Devan Tenney and Andy Pelletier, I have only become more invested in improving my skills as a coach. Whether it be attending in-person seminars on biomechanics and strength training taught by some of the most credible names in the industry or staying up late at night going over lifter case studies, I am always looking for ways to become the best coach that I can and provide the best service possible to my clients.

Coaching Philosophy:
I am a firm believer in the idea that everybody’s ideal training layout will look different, but I also understand the importance of developing heuristics based on an individual’s training age, leverage, body weight, sex, and biomechanical demographics. I am fortunate enough to work with a very diverse group of men and women, which has helped me improve my overall training system and have confidence in my ability to coach lifters from any background. I also place very high importance on communication between myself and my athletes. I believe any productive coach/client relationship should be collaborative, and the more both parties can communicate effectively, the better things will go.
What Does My Service Look Like?
Communication:
As stated previously, I take communication very seriously, and my communication system reflects that. I offer daily communication through WhatsApp where each of my clients have full access to my time between the hours of 8:30am and 8:00pm 7 days a week. I use not only text, but audio and video as well to communicate ideas about training strategy, technique feedback, or anything that is relevant to the athletes training. On top of daily communication, I also send weekly “Check-ins” to go over any long form topics, and to recap the lifters week in general.
Programming:
Since I rely on reactive programming rather than proactive, training will always be sent upon completion of the previous week/block of training. Training block length is completely individualized, but blocks will typically be 3-5 weeks in length. Training will be written on either a week-to-week or block-to-block basis depending on the needs of the athlete, but communication guidelines never differ.
Payment:
Payments are made once per month on a recurring basis. The first payment will be made prior to the athletes first week of training, and the payment subscription will auto-renew on the same day of each month.
